about usRSVP (Raising Student Voice through Participation) is a national program designed to increase student voice in schools while developing student leadership.
At Liberty High School RSVP was started in the Fall of 2013. Staff members were asked to nominate and select a core group of students representing a wide cross-section of the student population to serve on the RSVP Leadership Team. The RSVP Leadership Team is group of approximately 20 students who are tasked with facilitating the RSVP process at Liberty High School. The RSVP Process at LHSThe voice of the entire student population is the heart of RSVP. As such, student voice is heard in a number of schoolwide forums known as summits (see graphic at right). The RSVP Leadership Team meets at least once a month during the school year to discuss progress towards development of and meeting goals. In the Summer the Leadership Team meets to review goals and finalize strategic action plans.
